I bring ethnographic depth to understanding technology adoption. I embed myself in their actual contexts: homes, offices, buses, classrooms, memorial services. My sociological training helps me see gaps between what people say and what they do, to surface whose perspectives get excluded from systems, and to understand how the structure of a platform shapes behaviour in ways users don't always recognise. I translate these findings into actionable recommendations to inform design strategy and service decisions.
